I wear my heart on my face
For all to see
With no makeup or lipstick
I lay it bare
Unashamed, unafraid
Of the content it shares
Like screwface and grimace
It will make some sigh, ouch!
Don’t get me wrong it’s not all filled with gloom
There are butterflies, and rainbows, and sunshine too
It weathered the seasons and it all shows
Spring, summer, autumn and winter blues. It’s all true
We all weathered these seasons in our own way
But, I can’t help but wear mine upon my face
I do the same! As long as I feel cleaned and comfortable…

That’s where I wear my heart, too. Can’t hide my feelings.

Lovely. Only a secure person can wear their heart on their face.
